nevertheless: A BLATANT red flag that we all choose to indulge in

yeah i'm reading over everything and this is just a personal rant now but i hope you enjoy heehee

1. the colors that we see- great sets and editing by the production team. the filming locations aka setting. everything seems so calm and minimalistic but surely there is chaos and an ugly mess brewing. but because we want to experience the happiness of characters being loving each other in whatever way, we choose to ignore all the warning signs.

2. the actors. spitting image of the original webtoon. also, their faces match up so well. something about their facial features make them look like a power couple but also screams main character and the highlight of the story. it immerses you even more even if the story turns out to be worse

3. the reality of it all. i watch dramas because they are an escape from reality, but the issues highlighted here are so real i almost don't want to face it. but that's what we've been asking for, right? something that hits closer to home. but idk, it kinda hits a lot closer than expected

4. not the happy ending we wanted. so obviously the the main couple has to fight through it all and have a blissful resolution, right? nevertheless....

HAHA do you see what i did there 😁 

life happens. we don't get everything we want. it would be so perfect if that happened like a lot of other dramas, but the twists and turns are just as unexpected as the future itself. 

and no, not all amazing relationships last.

-NOT ONLY do we get the Nabi-Jaeeon stuff, there's all the relationship deals with Nabi's first love, her ex-bf, Yun Sol's unintentional triangle, Bitna's toxicity && infinity. So many types and aspects of relationships being portrayed and I appreciate how all of these topics are being introduced in k-dramas in depth. Can u believe it's only 10 eps, once a week i swearr 

(on a side note their behind the scenes clips are even more realistic. like if i picture a filming site vibe that's exactly what nevertheless delivers, han sohee and song kang aren't stiff and they seem very relaxed. this is why so many korean watchers are manifesting that they are dating or marrying or in love, even though they don't usually aggressively ship as much as intl watchers. this pair is going global with their chemistry i guess lol... so are they together yet?)
